The overall experience of the new vibe me social networking site was very user friendly. This website had the option of making your posts to other social networking sites such as facebook and twitter. Also one of the many features that I found intriguing is that this social networking company planned to make it so that people could post on tumblr, four square, go walla, and posterous through the vibe me site. This site also made it so that you can invite your friends from your email address contact list can join you on vibe me.
Even with this user friendly experience the positives that I see from this site separating it from many other social networking sites is that you can post your emotions at any given time. Another positive is that when people posted that their points could be used to be donated towards a good cause. I think this at the very least gives people incentive to post more so then when compared to facebook. The negatives that I see to this site is how connected one could be as soon as these other social networking sites. This just has me wondering if people really need to know what is going on with someone else’s life through numerous social networking sites. I just begin to think when has connected become too connected. Also who has so many friends that they would have to keep track of their daily events and emotions through multiple social networking sites.
I think this website is for those people who are hooked to their Iphones on a daily basis by checking what people post through facebook or twitter. Also it is for those who want to know what sort of day a person is happening whether it be good or bad. I am just not sure if I am one of those people. Also the issue with vibe me is that it is so new, no one I know has posted or joined it. I think it like facebook or myspace will need time before it becomes the “in” social networking site in the tech world. I think they have a good idea but that it will be a while tell others follow or post on it.
